Gorilla Tracking in Republic of Congo

    9-Night Itinerary: Rainforest Discovery

Did you know that the area we go to for gorilla trekking sees less than 300 people per year, versus the 70,000 people who visit popular tourist spots, Uganda and Rwanda, to see gorillas? Our 9-night Journey will immerse you in pristine wilderness as we take you to all three luxury Kamba lodges in the Odzala-Kokoua National Park area, introducing you to the various ecosystems of the Congo Basin. This is an area that our very own co-founder, Daniella, lived and worked for several years. Three gorilla tracks at Ngaga Lodge are included in this package. Note: No two experiences are the same: We customize each trip and activity according to guests’ interests, fitness levels and imaginations, as well as outside factors like weather and wildlife behavior. Thus, the list of activities here is a flexible suggested outline, not a strict itinerary.
